Dearcroft Growing with our Community

Toddler to Elementary

Wednesday, January 19th & February 2nd 2022

8:00 – 9:00 P.M.

We are excited to announce that Dearcroft is growing with our community and opening an additional location this September 2022, in north Oakville.  Dearcroft was founded in 1968 and is one of Canada’s original Montessori schools and is a long-standing pillar of Oakville’s private school community.  This new space will provide an opportunity for more children to learn in our well established Montessori programs.

Join us for a Virtual Open House on Wednesday, January 19th & February 2nd from 8:00-9:00 p.m. to learn more about our new location, Montessori education and our programs offered from Toddler through to Elementary.

The Dearcroft Trafalgar Crossing Campus, located at 297 Oak Walk Drive, Oakville, will offer programs from Toddler (18 months – 2.5 yrs), Casa (2.5 – 5 yrs), through to Junior Elementary (Grades 1 -3).

One of the greatest benefits of Montessori education is building real-life skills that carry over when it is time to enter the workforce. Problem-solving, creativity, team work, and responsibility run through the veins of a Montessori child.

Elementary And Junior High Students Return To Online Learning

Further to Premier Ford’s announcement today, we would like to advise you of the following information with respect to our return to school.
The Elementary and Junior High, Levels 1 to 8, will begin on-line learning on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, and return to in-class learning on Monday, January 17th, according to today’s announcement.  We will continue to follow mandated guidelines and update you accordingly as information is made available to us.
You will receive an email from your classroom teachers with a link for a class meeting on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am to begin the week.
Work packages for Junior Elementary and Senior Elementary will be ready to collect as of 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9th.  Junior High students will not need to pick up packages.  Please watch for further details from your classroom teachers.
For registered Arts Club students, please note that Arts Club will be moving to on-line starting next week.  Mrs. Campbell will set up a Zoom link and forward by separate email.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we now pivot to on-line as quickly as possible and we hope to see our students back on campus very soon!
