This evening we are excited to host our first Virtual Open House for our additional location that will be opening this September 2022.

We are now accepting registrations for our North Oakville campus for Toddlers (18 months ) to Grade 3. Our school will offer a warm and inviting environment with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious classrooms.
.
.
A beautifully landscaped, natural outdoor green space is right outside our classrooms. This space will be designed for children to foster the development of movement and stewardship of their environment. Keeping in-line with Montessori best practices, all classrooms feature: multi-age environment, low student/teacher ratios, hands-on experiential learning, and individual and small group lessons.

Dr. Montessori had hidden intentions when creating many parts of the curriculum, especially in the practical life department.

🔹️Children love working on concrete skills; they savor the opportunity to complete a ‘real’ job independently.
.
.
🔹️Polishing activities also reinforce the importance of showing respect for your things; not just throwing something out when it gets a little old (perhaps an increasingly important lesson in our disposable culture!).
.
.
🔹️Within the polishing work, ancillary goals include working on fine motor skills and strengthening the pincer grip, which are necessary for the many pencil tasks ahead in their schooling career.

.
🔹️Students are also taught to remember and follow multiple steps in the process, a prerequisite for future math work.
